Menu Reference

File - Use the commands on the File Menu to open, save, and close waveforms; import audio files; Export out files;
- Open File - Use this command to load an existing audio file into a Wave Expert Audio Editor editing window. The Open file dialog appears, allowing you to select files.
- Save Project - Works similarly to the File > Save Project command, except it allows you to save all waveforms to one file.This feature is very useful for saving small segments of a larger file.
- Save As Project - Save As Project As works the same as
Save As, except that the last used Save As Project folder, and name are remembered.
- Export selected file as - This command brings up the Save Waveform As window, which allows you to export the current selected waveform to a new name, location, or format. Click here to see the screen shot
- Exit - This command closesWave Expert Audio Editor. If there are any modified waveforms that are open that haven't been saved to disk, you will be asked if you want to save them.

Edit - This displays all of the options that have to do with basic waveform editing in the windows.
- Undo - This command reverses the last action.
- Redo - This command redo any editing operations that were just undo.after perform a new editing o0peration , you can not redo before undo oeration.
- Copy - Copies the selected audio data to the clipboard .
- Paste - Paste inserts data from the active clipboard at the insertion point .
- Cut - Use Cut to remove the highlighted part of the waveform, to the active clipboard
- Trim Outside - This command removes lift and right of the highlighted portion of the waveform.Just keeps the selection.
- Trim Inside - This command removes the highlighted portion of the waveform. That deleted data doesn't go to the clipboard and can only be retrieved using the
Undo command

Settings - The Options menu gives you access to Wave Expert Audio Editor configuration options, system settings
- Proferences -> Temp Directory - Wave Expert Audio Editor creates temporary files for use when performing edits on your audio. Use these this fields to specify the paths to folders in which these files will reside. You will need to have enough space available in these folders to accommodate the total size of al the audio files you wish to edit simultaneously.
- Proferences -> Audio I/O - Use the tab to select device that will be used for playback audio , This is usually only applicable if you has more than one sound card on your PC.
Effects - The Effects menu displays all the options that relate to waveform transformation (signal processing) functions You can apply a effect to your audio
- Amplift - Changes the volume of selected audio .
- Bass Boost - Enhances selected waveform the bass frequencies.
- Change Pitch - Change selected waveform the pitch frequency.
- Change Speed - Change the speeds of the audio. this will change the length of the selection.
- Change Tempo - Change the tempo of the audio , this will change the length of the selection.
- Echo - This function adds a series of repeated, decaying echoes to a sound.
- Fade In - Fades the selection in linearly.
- Fade Out - Fades the selection out linearly.
- Invert - This function simply inverts the waveform's samples.
- Phaser - Phaser introduces a variable phase-shift to a split signal and recombines it, A phaser is a delay line, but a phase delay, nor a time delay; and it is also feedbacked.
- Repeat - Repeats the selection number of times.
- Reverse - have the current selection play backwards by reversing the order of its samples. Reverse is useful for creating special effects

Popu menu - Right click the waveform this will showing a popu menu ,most of them are same as main menu, excepted two:
- Split Channel to Mono - If the selected track is a stereo track which has left and right tracks joined , this operation splites them into separate tracks so you can edit them one by one.
- Combin with next track to stereo - This command joins selected track and the next single track(below one) into stereo track, all edits automatically apply to both the left and right channel.
